Dave Smith aka "Smitty" Currently performing with the super reggae band Crucial Massive, Dave (Smitty) Smith has played in a variety of groups over the years. Local and National bands, such as Saxcetric, Texas Flood, Mary Taylor, People of Goodwill, Mighty Sam MacClain, and The Lance James Project. This gave Dave the opportunity to learn a vast array of styles and rhythms in the world of music.

As for past performances, Dave has played in Europe, as well as the US and has shared stage with some of the greatest artists of our time such as : Ray Charles, BB King, Dave Brubeck, Mountain, Bobby Blue Band, and Sherry Winston to name a few.

Now Dave has taken all of his past experiences in music and put them in full force in Crucial Massive Band. He plays from his heart and maintains the high standards of the group... constantly challenging and enhancing the presentation of the music by incorporating style from his past. Crucial Massive is happy to have Dave as part of their team and looks forward to harness his skills in the production of great music.
